The Romans are just across the Straits. Brei is fifteen, barely a druid, holding the blood bowl while her elders beg gods who won't answer. When the legion crosses, she must save the king's sons, or watch the last of the Ordo-wik die screaming.
Some prayers go unheard. Some sacrifices take everything.
Unflinching historical fiction set in the blood-soaked reality of Roman Britain, where courage means nothing against discipline, faith offers no protection, and survival is the only victory worth fighting for.
For readers who want their history without the comfort of heroes, justice, or divine intervention.
An epic series set in Roman and Celtic Britain, forged in the deep history of Wales.
All seven books in one volume. The complete epic, from the first Roman landing to the final reckoning of Arthur. The best way to begin, and the best way to finish.
A departure from ancient Britain and into the shadows of modern crime. The Dark Triad is Robb Pritchard's first noir thriller: a gripping, atmospheric story set in Blaenau Ffestiniog, in deepest, darkest Wales, written with the same uncompromising intensity that defined the Foundation of the Dragon series.

Robb Pritchard grew up in North Wales, just outside of Wrexham. He left straight after school to travel the world, and spent nearly thirty years visiting over a hundred countries before settling down. Today, he calls Prague home. Wales, though, is where his heart has always been, and it's why he writes what he writes.
By day, he has the remarkable privilege of test-driving and writing about classic Porsches, Ferraris, and the occasional off-roader. By night, he writes the kind of historical fiction he always wished existed: raw, authentic, and rooted in a part of Britain that history has overlooked.
The Foundation of the Dragon series is his life's work (so far): a series of seven novels set in Celtic Britain, drawn from years of research into the deep history of his homeland, written from the perspective of the native Britons.
His noir thriller The Dark Triad arrives in autumn 2026. His new Bloodlines of Britain series, the next Welsh and British perspective historical fiction series, is well in progress. The first instalment, Dragon of Mona, features Maelgwn Gwynedd, Gwallwen, Gildas, Taliesin, and Cynlas the Red.
